This was absolutely the hardest part of the whole build. It took me four different tries to simulate the center band at the right scale and with a fairly accurate mounting point for the led caps. I used a 1 1/2" plastic drain pipe as a sleeve, cut it to fit over the chrome pipe than built up the sides and top with styrene. Glued it with crazy glue gel.
